When you complete the requirements for a Bonze Award, you will receive a green and white ribbon. A miniature metal device is pinned to the ribbon to represent the particular award earned. As you earn additional Bonze awards, you add their miniature devices to the medal's ribbon. You will also receive a Bonze Award ribbon for each award earned. These colorful, campaign-style ribbons may be worn on the Sea Scouting or Venturing uniform above the left shirt pocket. If all five are earned, all five may be worn on the uniform. The Bonze ribbon has an icon representing the area it was earned superimposed on the ribbon. A certificate is also available.

Earning the whole Sea Scouting Quartermaster or Venturing Ranger Award requires a greater challenge; each has a distinctive award of its own.
